I've never thought about whether or not I believed in war.
I've grown up while America fights the longest war in our history and even
though Obama has removed our troops from Afghanistan, we continue to fight the
war on terrorism. Americans and Christians die every day because terrorists
has not been stopped. The US has the rule that we do not negotiate with
terrorists, I believe that this is ethical, but the only other way to eradicate
terrorism, that I can think of, is war. There has to be a better way.
Not all wars are fought over terrorism, wars have
been fought over land, freedom, and the economy. If there is a way to negotiate
instead of fight, then this should be done. If it weren’t for the greed in the
world today, every dispute would be easily negotiable. The wars we fight, in
most cases are due to pure selfishness. Take the American Revolution, thousands
of innocent men were killed due to the greed of both participating parties, the
Revolutionaries and the King.
