Assignment 6 - Claire Thompson

Learn to do something new, and write about it! It can be something simple that you can learn in an hour or less, like: learn how to crochet a chain, make caramel from scratch, the basics of volleyball, etc. Write about why you chose to learn that, how you liked it, etc.

Choose a color and try to describe it without using any visuals (as in: you can’t choose yellow and say “the color of a school bus”). It’s a good exercise in thinking about things in an abstract way that you may not have tried before.

Try to deeply describe the taste of an apple—or any other fruit—in at least 100 words. The challenge is to really think about the textures, tastes, smells, and feelings of something that you don’t normally think about.
