Assignment 6 Dylan Spradlin

Three writing prompts:
1. If you had to go a full day, 24 hours without any technology, do you think you could survive? Why or why not?
2. If you could only listen to one genre of music for the entirety of your life, what genre would you choose, and why?
3. If you had the option to pick any talent that you wish you had or could do, what talent would you pick and why?

In my opinion, I don't believe that I could go a full day without technology, because in todays world, we are so heavily reliant on technology. Life without technology to our generation seems unbearable, how could one go for a day, yet alone years without a cell phone or the internet. I am on my cell phone so heavily, that I don't think I could even breathe without it by my side. I always want to stay up to date on news, and sports that I only would be able to grasp with technology. Without the internet, how are we supposed to get access to news? Talk to people? Everyday we experience this, how people are glued to their phones instead of participating in society, for example going out to dinner with friends can't be complete without taking a picture of it. Another example, of going to a concert, where many tend to feel the need to record the performance on a screen instead of watching and enjoying it in real time. For these reasons, I don't believe I could last a full day without technology or electronic devices.
