Assignment 9- Emma Tucker

Throughout history war has been a constant theme. War brings fear and tragedy, and many people lay awake at night wondering why it is necessary. Personally, I wish that we could live in a world without war, and the majority of people all around the world share similar feelings. However, this is impossible. There has always been and will more than likely always be people in the world that believe that violence and war are the solution to the problems we face every day. The people that believe this (terrorist groups) tear apart their countries and countries all over the world with violence, destroying everything they come in contact with. It's heartbreaking to think about all the people whose lives have been affected or taken by these terrorist groups.
This is why it is necessary for countries like America, or other strong, powerful, and civilized countries, to go to war. Terrorist groups will never be stopped by negotiations. The only way to combat such great violence and evil is to go to war. It would be a shame for a country with so much power to sit back and watch such events to take place. Terrorism will never stop unless we stop it. It will only grow and take over the entire world.
War is not always the answer, but if there is a threat like terrorism that would very quickly become uncontrollable and threatens the lives of all people in the world, war is the answer.
