Assignment 14 - Ethan MacGillivray

My Thanksgiving actually looks a lot like the Stock image of the holiday, but not exactly alike. I usually have my immediate family - my parents and my brother - and my grandmother on my mom's side usually comes down. Nana, my mom's mom, usually does all or most of the cooking, given that she is one of the best cooks I've ever eaten the food of, and she doesn't, and never has, worked in a restaurant. She cooks turkey, stuffing, broccoli, squash, mashed potatoes, rolls, gravy, and sometimes a pie. We usually eat cinnamon rolls in the morning and then watch TV, the parade and football, until it's time to eat. Once we have our dinner, we are all stuffed, so we rest for a little while on the couch, watching the end of the first game of the day. Sometimes I will go play football with some friends, but I'm always at the house in the evening to eat some pie an spend time with my family. It is always a good day filled with Food and Family, and makes you appreciate everything that you have in the world.
