Assignment 11- Reagan Smith

Snakes, spiders, small spaces, tall places, are all common fears. My biggest fear is larger than that, and it is really applicable now- the division our country is experiencing. In the past month, our country, the United States of America, considered to be the world superpower, has experienced one of the most divisive elections in our history. Whether or not we like the result, we have to move forward. Both parties have to work together to do what is best for everyone. This is a fear or scary because even though this election specifically caused unprecedented levels of division, our Congress has been divided for years now. While there will be a majority here or there, our Senators and Representatives end up where they started, with no major changes. We have to change that, because working together is the only way to move forward. With changing times, we need changing legislation, because we can’t stay where we are today.
