Assignment 13- Reagan Smith

Black Friday- it is something all Americans look forward to every year because of the long lines and great deals. First off, who doesn’t love to get up the day after Thanksgiving at 3:00 a.m. to wait in a long line? Mark Consumer, a Best Buy black Friday customer was interviewed by LEX 18 about what made black Friday special for him, “Honestly, the most exciting part of the holiday is waiting outside for hours just to get a chance at getting a ticket for the TV.” That leads me into my second point, the great deals! Researchers have found that Black Friday deals are some of the best deals of the year. Top retailers raise their prices a few weeks before, and cut them by 80%. Once you get to the store, you find out that there was a “misprint in the ad” and it is only 40% off of a different, older model. That doesn’t matter though, it’s the hype that counts!
