Augustus Carlson- or just Gus to many, is who I currently sit
next to on the Fit Desk bike, which changes frequently considering you never
know which ones are working and which aren’t. But that’s beside the point. I
first met Gus at KYA last year, as I had honestly never seen met before
anywhere else since I joined the Academy last year. I have gotten to know
him better this year by being in two classes together. I quickly learned that
his writing is easy, (well somewhat less challenging than others) to pick out
when peer grading essays. I don’t think he has had much less than a nine, if
any less than a nine the entire year, which is pretty cool. But back to KYA related stuff, when I
needed some help with a service project that I had to organize, Gus was one of
the two others that showed up after school to help clean up the courtyard at
Henry Clay, which I appreciated.
