Good and Evil- it's one of the more commonly used
theoretical concepts. Is it theoretical
though? That is the question. From the spiritual standpoint, there is a
certainly a defined good and evil- God being good, and Satan being evil.
Without them, it is hard to understand how we are supposed to live.
Just because good and evil exist and the sources of them are
defined, it does not mean that individual actions are easy to define as just
good or just evil. For example- terrorism is without a doubt an evil act, but
is the war that is fought afterwards good because it is trying to defeat the
evil "for the common good" or is it evil because God says, "Thou
shall not kill."? There is certainly gray area between what is right and
wrong, but from the Spiritual standpoint, it is very
possible for evil to be defeated, and that is through God's loving acts.
