Assignment 3-Gus Carlson

Good and evil is definitely not a black and white concept. The vast majority of people don't do solely good or bad things. Most people do what they think is the good thing most of the time, because they won't go against their conscience. Even people that do things that some people think are bad may be doing what they believe is right. Good and evil are subjective, and different groups and people have different ideas of what these concepts mean and represent. Leah Kleppinger's actions were good from many people's points of view, and were evil in almost nobody's, but some people would recommend different actions, such as donating the money to a charity. Some people may think it's good to give money to those asking for it on the street, some would think that it is better to donate to charitable organizations where they know the money is going to help people in need. Almost nothing is black and white, and good and evil is certainly not.
