Assignment 24- Emma Tucker

It seems as though leading up to your junior year everyone warns you that it will be the hardest year of your life. And in many ways that proved to be true. The combination of AP Physics and AP Calculus almost got the best of me a couple times this year, but as I sit here with AP tests behind me and only five days of school ahead of me I can finally say I made it through. Junior year was full of many stresses with the combination of a rigorous schedule and the begining of college preparations, but it was rewarding. I am pleased with where I am GPA and test scores wise. But more than that I am proud of what I did outside the classroom. I had the opportunity to coach a kindergarten cheerleading team with one of my best friends. I completed a lot of volunteer hours. I got my first car. I had good times with my friends. This summer I plan to get started on the college application process and my senior mentoring project. I aim to get a summer job and to make some money. I also plan to have fun with my friends and let loose a little bit. I stayed pretty focused on school work this past year which was necessary with the workload I had, but I am ready for a break. For my senior year. I plan to enjoy it. I know that in a year I will be about to start the next chapter of my life, so I really want to enjoy this time I have right now.
