Assignment 22- Nick Joseph

If I could be any character from any book, I would have to be Brian from Gary Paulsen's Hatchet.  Hatchet is a book that focuses on a boy named Brian who is on his way to Canada to spend the summer with his dad.  During flight, the pilot has a heart attack and loses control of the plane.  After the pilot dies, his two man plane crashes into a lake and Brian is forced to live off of the land to survive until help comes.  Even though his life at the time may be stressful, I would definitely want to be Brian.  First, I would get to spend like every minute of my life outside, which would be super fun.  Additionally, there would be no school to attend or homework to do.  The one drawback would be the lack of friends and family, but I suppose I could reunite with them once I get rescued.  Clearly, Brian lives a pretty good life.
