Right Now in the mountains of New Hampshire...
Right now I'm at the top of a mountain at Bretton Ski Resort near Jackson, New Hampshire. The temperature is 25 degrees but the sun is shining brightly, the ideal weather for skiing. The air is crisp and the skillfully groomed snow crunches beneath my skis as I shuffle to the ski lift that effortlessly whisks me off my feet and into the clear blue sky. Peaceful, calm, still. I have a chance to think about navigating down the hill. But, as I ride upward, I notice the splendid peaks of mountains in the distance that grace the landscape ahead of me. The quiet beauty of the snowy mountain is inescapably peppered by a vast landscape of massive fir trees for miles upon miles. A crystal clear perfect day, with just the beautiful slopes ahead of me, unbothered by the freezing temperatures and the outside world. Bundled in layers of clothing, and shocked by the amazing views at the ski slopes. This is where I wish I was right now.
