Assignment 1- Elizabeth Salamanca

My name is Elizabeth Salamanca. I've constantly given my parents grief about not giving me a shorter name, or at least calling me by a nickname so people don't make up their own. Such shortened versions of my name include the basic "Liz" or "Lizzie," but also "Lizard Salamander," "Liz Sal," and "Sala-la-la-manca." This year, I hope to find a way to make writing feel like less of a chore. I tend to worry a lot, so another goal for this year is to not fall apart from stress and maybe procrastinate a little less. Speaking of procrastination, I spend quite a lot of time everyday on the app version of Buzzfeed.com, learning what the shape of my soul is and all about the Taylor Swift drama. One thing I don't procrastinate on is math homework. To me, math is like a game and every problem is a puzzle. Going into AP Calculus everyday with Mrs. Dewees never fails to excite me (I know that's really nerdy but you asked what geeks me out).
